02/03/2009 - Remodelling its profile, the company’s expansion phase has just begun. F.lli Canalicchio changes its status from   an s.r.l. (partnership with limited liability) to an S.p.A. (joint stock company) and intends to create a modern and dynamic company that is able to guarantee a wide range of high quality and reliable products.
Over the last  years the company has acted on one guiding principle – customer satisfaction is paramount and it is the cornerstone of company policy.  Observing this principle unceasingly has resulted in F.lli Canalicchio being recognised as a company that offers the best value in its field.

 

14/11/2008 - The  company is determined further to develop its yachting sector as a supplier of furnishings and components to the Superyacht. In 2008 Sea Steel S.r.l. merged with F.lli Canalicchio affording an opportunity to maximize the management, technical and financial potential of both companies as well as their labour force. The yachting Sector will retain its identity as a Company Division.

 

24/06/2008 - Based on considerable successes of recent years, the business was ready to expand and in 2008 F.lli Canalicchio acquired new partners who brought with them expertise in management and extensive knowledge of companies operating in the field.

 

07/04/2008 - In order to expand and to continue  the process of modernization, the Canalicchio brothers decided to return to origins and to enlarge their knowledge of wood-working. At the beginning 2008 a new workshop came into being to produce teak furnishings accessories leading to an expansion of the product range in a process of continuous evolution.

 

19/10/2005 - Steady growth and a continued search for new markets brought the company to the world of yachting, in particular to manufacturing stainless steel parts and fittings for luxury boats. Fired by enthusiasm for this new market, in 2005 the Canalicchio brothers founded a new company: Sea Steel s.r.l. The new company is determined further to develop its yachting sector as a supplier of furnishings and components to the Superyacht.

 

11/09/2001 - Over the years the company has progressed steadily, acquiring new facilities and aiming to keep up with technology by investing in CNC machines, as well as in a Quality Management System and human resource training. Strictly controlled product quality has resulted in the firm getting to be well known to major customers in important industries.
In the course of time they began to think of them not so much as mere suppliers but as stable partners. This resulted in opening up new markets, thus  in 2001 the company has been able to change its status from an s.n.c (unlimited partnership) to an s.r.l. (partnership with limited liability), changing from handcraft to industrial manufacture.

 

11/09/1996 - F.lli Canalicchio was founded in 1996 by the brothers Giovanni and Pasquale, who were twenty one and twenty years old at the time. Founded as a s.n.c. or unlimited partnership company, it has benefited from of the experience of the family firm set up by parents Paolo Canalicchi e Maddalena Basilio in the early eighties .The parents’ business had its beginning as small artisan workshop where the father manufactured customized ashtrays from olive roots, the mother treated them with copal and they sold their handicrafts at local  markets. Over the years the parents began to specialise in iron, at first in wrought iron, later in mechanical parts. During this time the two teenagers Giovanni and Pasquale spent their summers working at the family firm, learning to use the lathe and the traditional milling cutter. Over the years the young men continued to work as well as study, their passion for mechanics became an integral part of their character.
During the first visit at the Bi. Mu Fair in Milan they were so fascinated by the advanced technology on display that they persuaded their parents to buy their first CNC machine – the rest is history.
